General Schallplatten
General Schallplatten was founded in 2005 by my brother Stefan Schmidt to release the second album of
THE RAZORBLADES “The Dark Side Of The Beach”.
Back then no record label offered a reasonable deal so the band decided to take things in their own hands and do everything on their own.
General Schallplatten was born and has released several albums on CD and vinyl from the artists THE RAZORBLADES, THE INCREDIBLE MR.SMITH , THE HOLLYWOOD GANGSTERS, MR. SMITH & THE JAZZ POLICE and VAN CANTO. Since 2007 General Schallplatten is run by Martin Schmidt, the mastermind behind THE RAZORBLADES and THE INCREDIBLE MR.SMITH.
